I would have liked a real German guy to play him, maybe. Or at least someone who knows his way around an accent.

But haven't you heard? When germans are in movies, they have british accents! It just makes sense after all I mean, ... like.... ...... it just makes sense.

I do agree, someone who can work a german accent, be it natural or otherwise, would be splendid.

Sorry, but I can't really tell about these things. Was the accent just wrong? What was wrong with it?

Aerial acrobats don't need to be short but they do need incredible strength in both their upper bodies and legs. Someone with Alans physique would not only be incapable of the tricks but would also be ripped apart by the bars and ropes becous he's too fleshy and not toned enough.

So, the accent, the physique, the make-up, all of it was wrong. They just failed, didn't they. Oh well, I liked it. I still think he was super-hot.

It makes perfect sense, because they learn British English in school. Ooooh now it becomes clear.

I'm with you October. They may have completely failed on creating a good Nightcrawler in the movie but I don't care, I still go all warm and fuzzy when I see the White House scene

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about the accent though. Having travelled all be it breifly in Germany and Austria and having done German in school I can honestly say that I don't think there is any one German accent. Yeh, he lays it on a bit thick but it's a movie, they want to make it painfully obviouse that he's German becouse that's a big part of the characture.

Gambit had a slight accent. Nothing fancy or even all that believable (if you're going to comic voice traits that is), but you get a little.

It was more pure southern than it was cajun.

Bummer, I've always loved Gambit's accent. Now I'm a little nervous to see it.

How was Deadpool?

Umm, Wade Wilson was good. Ruined Deadpool. But it's leading up to a Deadpool movie, so I guess I can forgive it.

But I always thought Ryan Reynolds was sort of perfect for the role. Him and Deadpool are sort of similar with sense of humor and such, and the body type was alright. What was wrong with the portrayal?

Also, one thing puzzled me; lack of scars. Isn't Deadpool meant to be horrible scarred? Or did they miff the scars to let the actor's face show through?

And I saw what OctoberHoliday and The Drastic Spastic said and if i understand well, in accion parts they always put a double! I don't know if they do that in this one but,, what's the problem?

Änd the fact that Alan is a little unknow... what's the matter with that!! I like to see another actors! Not always the same! Not always Brad Pitt, Jhony Depp, etc...

And he did the character like they showed to him! If the character it wasn't well interpretade is not his fault!
He is a great actor!


If they had wanted that Alan was more muscular, they should have said that. A lot of actors have to train for some characters like Taylor Lutner in new moon.

Tape's okay....just don't use superglue.

Super Glue does a super job of sticking your fingers together.

Not that I have ever stuck my fingers together.......I mean...that is...not deliberately!
