I know! Loved it. Well it was the 80's. That's what cordless phones looked like then.

I had one in the early nineties when they were only slightly smaller. (It was a foot long and weighed over a pound.)
My father got it for me after I got mugged once in grad school. He was like "If it ever happens again, use this."
I was like, "For what a bludgeon?!"
Then I had the image of an even funnier scenerio in my head of getting mugged and being like, "Hold on, I have to make a call." And then digging that electronic behemouth out of the botton of my backpack to call the police. If I was a mugger, I know I'd wait.
Ridiculous.
