I think a little film coming out this summer may influence this matter just a wee bit......

Ultimate Nightcrawler's return

Post by Magic Rabbit »

That's what happens when I miss the Mark Millar Hour. Grrr...

So does that mean that Nightcrawler is coming back only in the final arc or that he will show up before then and be the only one left from the current team? Oh MM is such a tease!

Wait, so they ARE coming back for sure this time? Because I seem to remember that Kurt was supposively going to be in the last arc and he never showed up. Argh...I hope he gets put on the team this time. And they better not kill him off like they did with Psylocke (even though I'm not a fan of hers at all, I still think it's unfair to kill off a major character like that within a few issues of her first appearance).

I'd hate to spoil anything about the newest issue of Ultimate X-Men (#27, hitting stores tomorrow), but ... a piece of advice:
Go to your local comic book store tomorrow - after school, during lunch, whenever you've got some free time. Browse around a bit, talk with your acquaintances there, maybe mention how cool it would be for Nightcrawler to be back in the Ultimate books. Heck, even an appearance in Ultimate Adventures would be okay at this point. Then head on over to the shelf with Ultimate X-Men #27 on it, and flip through it. You just might surprise yourself with what you find.

Excuse me a moment, the possibility of a similarly aged Meggan and Kurt around with no interfering Brian Braddock makes me want to go scream and giggle like a little school girl.

-idsunki, off to read some Excalibur back issues and wonder what might have been.

Then of course there's probably another school of thought intrigued by the possiblities of similarly aged Kitty and Kurt...

:meggan: "I do believe he and I make a far better couple..."

:naughty: "Don't fight, girls...you can both have me!"

I see Nightcrawler, Moira, and Meggan quickly developing into Ultimate Excalibur (probably not with their own title, though...)

What do mean, "not with their own title"? I didn't get that.

And I hope that it just stays an Ultimate X-men for awhile. They need to pick that one up again before they work on anything else. I'm so glad the drawings back again. I was sick of that cartoon crap they were doing few issues ago. This stuff is MUCH better.

I must say for the record that I learned my english form watching tv too. In fact, I probably learned it from those old Star Trek episodes on the BBC. Aye, captain!

Erynne, I mean that they might be a background team that occasionally is featured in "Ulitmate X-Men" but not recieve their own, seperate title "Ulitmate Excalibur"

Elwing, LOL!! From now on, I'm going to imagine everything you say with a William Shatner accent.

The day Ultimate Excalibur comes out is the day I ... well, I buy a copy. We'll have an underaged drunk Brian Braddock, an emotionally unstable empath Meggan, hip-girl wannabe Kitty, and super-spy wannabe Kurt, staying with Moira because Charles doesn't have any room for them.

-idsunki, who can just see Kurt running around the 'haunted' light house humming his own theme music, fingers cocked like a gun.

Affirmative, Garble. I....soundjustlike...that.

Oh, ultimate Excalibur. If only that could be true...And with this setup, it could actually. Now if only Kitty shows up in Scotland, we have a pretty good Excal. And Brian I can do without, personally!
Hmm, I wonder how ultiKitty will react on ultikurtie. Will she do her traditional freaking out or wil it be love at first sight?

...that stunt with the car....and he pulled it off so non-chalantly.... "Nothing I was not trained to handle..." WoW!

Learned english from watching T.V. eh? (lol EL & GARBS!) I figured maybe the professor had taught it to him telepathically or some such thing.

And is it just me or does he look waaaaaay older than the 14 yrs old I thought that ultimate nighty was supposed to be.... :?
