In all honesty, with no intention of trolls whatsoever, this looks terrible.

Actionwise yeah, it looks great. Good work on that.

But Oliver Queen is a sarcastic, funny, easy-to-get-along-with-guy. This looks... morbid and serious.

Also, is he killing people? I thought Queen doesn't kill? How can he be on the Justice League if he kills people? This looks like the Twilight Generation got a hold of a comic book hero and completely warped him.

Down boy. :P

Like I said in chat, if it doesn't have Justin Hartley in tight green leather I'm not going for it. :naughty

But in all seriousness, Scott is excited for it. He may be a bit bummed that he's not the same kind of character as Smallville Ollie though.

That's where most my disappointment is coming from. Why wouldn't they just stick with the same Ollie? It's even the same network. Same show creators.

*drop kicks steyn and ty* RAWR leave ollie alone :P He's more pimp than batman and you guys just can't deal with it :P oh and he does kill, not much but I have a few issues where he kills. It's usually a have to situation but he's not afraid to do what has to be done.

I haven't watched the post yet cuz I'm at work, but that's what green arrow is in some of his stuff, just a lot more virtuous, and smarter

He looks completely void of any virtue in this. He just seems pissed his millionaire daddy got killed.

lol well they did really change his character in the new 52 from what I've heard. I've been discouraged by a lot of people every time I think about buying it. So maybe they're just trying vainly to get him more popularity by making him edgier

You should read it, it's good. ;)

Anyways -- this show had a lot of potential. I'd be impressed if they can turn what I watched into something halfway decent.

I'm going to watch it and reserve judgement from that. It usually takes a few episodes before the actors 'settle in' you know? Get the real feel for the character. That said, the sure do recycle through actors lately with this whole big red 'reboot' button. Sometimes that's interesting and sometimes it gives a lack of momentum and solidity that we come to crave.

I try to judge things by their trailers being it is the direct objective of the trailer-makers that you do so. If you decide you love it, you're still judging it, but in a positive light, y'know? From what I'm seeing? Not worth my time. Then again, CW is really off my radar so far as networks go.

Maybe if it appears on Netflix I'll make a point to catch it though. From what I'm seeing though it looks like DC is really uninvolved in this. And that displeases me, greatly.
