What would you name X23?

I've seen a few other posts along this line and thought that it might be a good idea to kind of get the same ideas all in the same place if you know what I mean.

Tell us the name and why you chose it.

A name for X23 I think should be something that fits her personality, not just some generic name that has nothing to do with her. I would choose Artemis, based off of the fact that she was the Goddess of the Hunt, and X23 does seem like a hunter of sorts.

I still vote for Loganetta, just for laughs.

Or Lognetta.. but that brings me a mental image of a house made of logs and fishing nets... so that might be a bad suggestion.

But counting Logan's strong ties to Japan (in some of the dimensions), I'd say she looks like an Kaoru or Aiko.

speaking of gods & goddesses- i chose the name Nemesis-(isnt there already a nemesis)- shes the goddess of revenge right

what about code namess, too? X23 isn't a code name, it's a prject name. Maybe something like Lynx, or some other small, ferocious predator

I suggested Eileen once, so I'll suggest it again. I think it suits her.

It's sort of old fashioned, which I think would have appealed to Logan had he ever been able to actually parent her. He's sort of old fashioned in his way.

Plus, I had a great Auntie Eileen who was a very good tracker. She used to help track criminals with the police. That was before I was born, but she told me stories about it and had a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about the cases she helped with.

It's pretty and she was a strong queen in the Middle Ages and I just plain like that name.
Another name that I've heard, this isn't one I came up with just one that was mentioned on another thread, is Morgaine. Morgaine because Hydra wanted to have "More gain" in the weapon X project.

I kind of like Valkyrie for a code name. Not sure why.

I like the idea that the name should fit the personality of X23, but at the same time if one of the scientists for Hydra did secretly give her a name, the name would've been given when she was little. Just a random thought...

In my fanfiction "Concrete Angel" I named her Amiko. Amiko was Logan's foster daughter from Japan. I think it might be a nice reminder for him of another child he had.

I like that idea too, but it just wouldn't make sense in the show. There's been no mention of any child in his past.

QQ: I'm not entirely up on the whole Amiko storyline from the comics. I knew that at one time Logan was taking care of a Japanese girl and I knew her name, but that was about it. Could someone fill me in?

The story is this: While on some mission in Japan, Logan comes across a little girl named Amiko. She is a war orphan and when he found her she was buried under her mother's dead body. He felt sorry for the child and took her in for a little while, until she went into the Japanes adoption network. Logan went back to America, but he still suported her finantualy. Later he found out that the system wasn't treating her well, so he asked his then-feoncee Mariko to take Amiko in. The woman agreed and for a time the arnagment worked until Mariko died.

I don't know the details after that, but I know that Amiko regards Logan as her foster father, not as close as a REAL father but still. She would be in her early twenties by now, I think.

Valkyrie would work, seeing as those were Norse shieldmaidens. I think "Ohgodnotmorewolvie" would be good too.

Y'know, not that this means she couldn't be called that for Evoverse, but there already is a Valkyerie in the Marvel Universe. She was in the Defenders and is part of the Asgard like Thor.

Ciaura - Daughter to Boudica<- anglo-saxon queen who kicked the roman's rear ends when they tried to take over England. They did, but she (boudica) is known as the Warrior Queen of Britan. Quite an interesting story actually.
