New X-Men animated series in the works...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is just the beginning - talk Marvel on the big screen, small screen and everything in between. DC Cinematic Universe and independent comic creations are welcome, too - The Walking Dead, Preacher, etc.

eew. Something about that clip really rubs me the wrong way. I hate Wolvie's voice- and the music! But it's early days...

I'm hopeful. Some of it made me headdesk (like rogue's transparent hair - its not just white locks anymore, its plastic wrap!), but I like that it has a different take and that it seems brought up to speed to be more modern. I don't think any of us are thrilled about wolverine being the central attention, but its still looks like it has some redeeming features.

And dude. Is that pietro? And if so, why is he 50 yrs old? I do like how 'adult' they are, tbh. I loved the bit with Bobby. "your son is a mutant. get over it."

THAT LOOKS AWESOME.

It's so lame I'm this excited!

I really hope I'm able to see it. *geeks out like she's still 12 and watching X-evo*

Hope to see some Nighty soon, but yay... the animation is a LOT better than I thought it was! In fact it looks great! Marvel 4ever!

That wasn't Bobby. He threw fireballs later in the trailer. It's either Pyro or Rusty Collins.

I'm leaning toward Rusty- there's a lot of subtle hints in the trailer that this may be a sequel to evolution. The Brotherhood Jeep, some of the character's Civilian wear, the similarity of the mansion and downtown sets- a few character designs and voices (Beast, Cyclops, Kelly)...

I think that was pyro in the helicopter (or as you say Rusty) but that was definitely Bobby in the house. Pause one of the last few seconds in the trailer, Bobby's there sliding around on his ice..board..thing..

I thought it was Bobby too...not too sure...hmm. I like it, but I guess I'm still to use to Evo. as they were as kids...teens, but i grew up with the org. animated series so I need to get over that. I'm not too thrilled about Rogue with her hair being styled like she's 12 and with "plasic wrap" white hair though. Also it seems like some of the characters look too old for the parts...like Quicksilver and Avalance. However I have been proven wrong about shows. I hoping it will be totally awesome. We need a X-men fix.

You know, if that's a continuation of Evolution, then Avalanche had quite the workout and somehow thinks that the "80's-porn-star-moustahces" somehow got modern again. :shifty

Looking at it in freeze frame, the blond haired kid in a red shirt who got on the helicopter is definitely different from the blond haired kid in a red shirt tossing fireballs out of the helicopter.

Hmm... going by similarities in the character design, as well as the woman he was with when being grabbed, if the Evo-sequel theory holds true, I think the human civilian being questioned about Wolverine is Amanda Sefton's father.

I think they've officially said at this point that it is *not* an evolution continuation.

Still, I'm psyched for adult Kurt. I hope he's true to form!

My first post...I'm torn. I watched the whooooooooooole thing yesterday (the whole first season is on Nickolodoeon's website, by the way) a la here: http://nicktoonsnetwork.nick.com/shows/ ... ndex.jhtml. Anyways, I watched the whole thing. Mr. Wagner shows up twice in the first season, once in the first few seconds of the first season, and then he has a whole episode basically to himself (episode 6). He looks epic, and seems fairly true to character (though lacks the funny that I'm accustomed to), but they basically put him in to write him out. I wont spoil the episode, but I was kind of sad. The series is okay, though not ANYWHERE near as interesting as Evo, in my opinion.
