Showed at work yesterday at 7 am to do I job I was not hired to do. Then, when almost time to leave, I spill an entire dish of barbecue sausage all over myself. Then I lost my second job. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

My nan died today.

More family upheaval involving a much loved relative in trouble. I also discovered we have a registered child sex offender living only a block from us and two more a block from where my kids take their music lessons. Finally, a mother-daughter Krav Maga workshop has me sore and aching all over. (The positive here is that the young lady will likely be quite capable of defending herself from larger, older attackers.)

Only family member currently not with the family in the wake of Nan dying. Can't get there until literally the evening before the funeral. Really upset about this.

Benefits appear to have been fucked up again. No money.

This week has been total fail and ass and lose and wank.

Newest: it appears our shower has a leak, because I was having one today and then got a knock on the door from downstairs - apparently they had water pouring down the wall.

Owwww. OMFG I hurt and wants to sleep. I've spent the day cleaning my mother's house. And I'm not done yet! Just taking a break.

My son had a couple of permament front teeth stage complete no-shows. Unfortunately, replacing them will not be simple. In the short amount of time since the bottom front baby teeth came out, he's sustained visible bone loss in his lower jaw now, and he's too young yet for the tooth implants and the ever more likely bone graft surgery. Hopefully the new orthodontia he now has on his lower teeth will help his jaw pull itself together. Good thing the kid has a great sense of humor about this as well as a high pain threshold, because laughing about how expensive his mouth will be sure beats the alternative. (Oh, yeah. And if the budget cuts mean my husband loses his job, we may lose our dental insurance, too.)

My husband's entire division was eliminated today. And I'm not working because of the baby - just freelancing.

There's a possibility he may be able to relocate within the company, but we won't know until the end of next week after an interview.

Oh man - that totally sucks ass, Slarti will be thinking of you - I know it's not much, but will keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

No, I don't want to get up at 6:30 to drive Matt to work, have to bring his car home, and wake back up at 8:30 to drive your eldest to work with gas at $4.17 a gallon and only a fourth of a tank left because his dumb ass forgot to ask Matt for a ride to work last night. In the rain. With some areas flash flooding.

Oh, and I also don't want to listen to talk about nascar races or monster trucks the whole way there, considering that getting up at 6:30 plus the hour after getting back from dropping Matt off means I only got... 3 hours of sleep... if I was lucky.

My husband didn't get the job. Which means we're both unemployed, with a baby. What a fucking nightmare...

I don't normally write in here, but I got really big ass. My favourite professor died on Thursday night. He also was the leader of our group. This means lots of chaos and mourning straight after coming back from three months of hard work in India. Fuck.
