I got in a car accident on Easter while driving four friends to the Brittany Spears concert in San Jose. Three car line up. Damages came close to $7,000. Why my coffee tastes astounding? I didn't have to pay a penney for it.

My brother went to the ER this morning because he passed out and broke the glass out of a picture frame. He ended up with six staples in his head and stitches in his arm, lip, and inside his ear. Good thing about it is that he's okay.

I witnessed what I figure is a miracle of some kind today just down the street from my house. A little Pomeranian puppy who'd gotten out of his yard wandered into traffic, got hit by a car, and then greeted my offer to help by frisking around like nothing happened and giving me kisses. While his family is keeping a close eye on him, other than a shoulder which is probably pretty sore, he seems perfectly okay.

I'd say that your mom is less stubborn than mine, but then I remembered you're in university. My sentence ran out as soon as I graduated high school and moved out.

In good news, I met someone to go to music shows with!! So excited.

I went to see Trek! (it was good) BUT! I found my car easily in that hell-hole of a parking garage! Usually I get so lost and turned around that it takes me forever - this time I went right to it! woo!

I actually got to sleep while it was dark. For the first time since Feb, I didn't watch a sunrise. It felt so, so nice to just....rest. Won't last long, but it was just so needed.

I just looked at my calendar... IT'S JUNE!!! IT'S JUNE!!! IT'S JUNE!!! :*) :*) :*) This means a lot. For one, I've managed to stay at a job for three entire months without starting to loathe it and wanting to quit. Also now on my calendar I can see the end of term, which is really nice.

And I'm swinging out of my generally blah mood back into my mildly manic state which is always exciting.

And I was able to match most of my student's names to their faces in class today! Just in time for the end of the term, but still. I'm pleased with myself.

From what I heard on the news, swine flu differed from other flu epidemics in that it actually hit the young harder. Score one more for a lifetime's worth of natural immunity, I guess.

I thought the whole point of swine flu was that people don't have any immunity to it because it's new.

My astounding coffee for the day is eating lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings with Tears.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings! And I'm having fun with Tears!

Say something Tears:
Uhh...
Well. That WAS verbose...

Anyway, we're having wings and we're going to go terrorize chat now.

I'm not quite in New York yet.

But now I'm a Rat Mommy (and maybe Rat Grammy; we're hoping not, but her belly is unusually larger shaped...) instead of giving her up - since we all ready gave her love and a home, it'd be cruel to just toss her out into an unfamiliar place...even though she is not happy with her own cage in my room at the moment.

And a fan on, cause it's 30 C out. But it's on me and me alone! :D

yesterday the company I wanted to work at in my city FINALLY started advertising that they want to hire new people for their new movie they're starting. Not only that, but this morning I found a friend's email. I met him last year when I was working at a crappy production place. Actually the place was nice, great company, except the two bosses, who were twats. Anyhow, in his e-mail he said he's putting together a team for an educational show, and asked if I might be interested.
