Okay, so this is an old idea for thread-filler but with a twist.

You've seen around on other forums "What's your top five favorite bands?" (green Day = 1)
or
"What's your top five favorite dog breeds?" (St.Bernard = 1)

Well what's great about this is there's no requirement.
List your top five favorite... WHATEVER?!!

Candy?
Sure.
Pillow casings?
Why not?
Poop color?

....:yech

okay maybe not that.
But you get the idea!!

I'll start us of:

My Top Five Favorite Movies (For the time being until better ones come out) are:

5) Casino Royale
4) The Departed
3) Wall-E
2) The Dark Knight
1) Either Spider-Man 2 or Star Trek: First Contact.

I know, shway nerd of me. Whatevs.

So what about you guys!? ;)

Top Five Favourite Sensations:
1) warm and soft creature (grandchild, puppy, parrot, elf, that kinda thing)
2) a shot o' the Holy Ghost that leaves me all giggly
3) a warm shower (as in the WC, not rain) on a cold morning
4) the firm, squishy, soft-skinned feel of bread as I knead it (old people gotta get our thrills where we can)
4.5) (yeah, I'm cheating. sue me) lip balm gliding across dry lips
5) the thunk of conga drum skin against my palms

The top five things (that I can remember) that make me HAPPY!

1. My family. I love hugging them.

2. My pets. They are so adorably funny and stupid, they make me laugh.

3. Orange juice.

4. A good book, preferably a spooky ghost story or mystery without
blood or gore, washed down with a cup of coffee.

5. Since I am posting here in these forums: Nightcrawler...and powwows. I can't make up my mind...because I'm old and indecisive. I like them both.

Top 5 Favorite

SPIDER-MAN VILLAINS!!

5) Hydroman (Sandman... but wetter. And more dangerous to be honest.)

4) Carnage (so gruesome!! So violent! SO FUN!)

3) Scorpion (big green tail = cool. )

2) Venom (So bad ass!!)

1) Dr. Octopus (If I were to pick the absolute arch-rival, in terms of capabilities rather than story, I think it's him. Green Goblin can't even compare when it comes to smarts, abilities, and reflexes.)

My five favorite things that I misheard:

1. The lyrics to the Beach Boy song Barbara Ann:
"Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob Moran,
I wanna hold your hand!"

Those Beach Boys sure were ahead of their time, weren't they?

2. The Freaks Come Out at Night:
"The Fleas Come Out at Night!!"

Just in case you don't know this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLYC7ltxOrk
:dance:monkey<---Kurt and a monkey dancing to the song

I'll post the last three later, as soon as I remember them, lol!

OH!
I got something I mis heard!

My Number One Stupidest Thing I Misheard In A Song:

Actual Lyrics: "Getting a way with murder!"

What I heard?: "Dingalingin' murder!"

Actual Lyrics: "Getting away, getting away. Getting away, getting away."

What I heard?: "Ding-a-ling, ding-a-ling. Ding-a-ling, ding-a-ling."

1. The Everly Brothers

2. Dolly Parton

3. Elvis Presley

Favorite musicals I've worked on, and my reasons.

1. Pirates of Penzance. It was while on this production that I got to teach my then 14 month old daughter about the elaborate games of pretend we grown ups call "theater." She's loved it ever since. We also learned about the ways a good costumer can hide a sixth month pregnancy so I could do a convincing job of playing one of the major general's sheltered, virginal young daughters while my son in utero was vigorously expressing his opinion on the music.

2. HMS Pinafore. My son was born by then, but still nursing and reluctant to take a bottle. Our Josephine was in the same exact boat. The director allowed us both to take our babies to rehearsal, and soon the idea caught on that kissing the babies or rubbing their heads before going onstage brought good luck. The kids both loved the music and the attention they got.

3. 42nd St. (wardrobe mistress) I was about five months along with my daughter at the time, and discovered then, while in the wings setting up for quick changes, that she had a sense of rhythm and seemed to enjoy the big chorus numbers. (The dancers would do "flap flap flap change," and I'd feel "kick-a kick-a, kick KICK!")

4. Jesus Christ, Superstar (crew) I got to work with the lighting crew putting up the big light-up cross. I got to sit posted in the wings with a fire extinguisher. And, while on security post by the dressing rooms, I got to share some brown bag lunches with "Jesus." Also, some of those "apostles" were pretty sweet, and shameless flirts, too!

5. Trial by Jury. I got the lead. As if that weren't good enough, I had to sing, dance, and act with a full length wedding dress and cathedral length train, and I played opposite the nicest guy I ever turned down for a date.

Cutest or funniest sounding names for nations' capitals, according to a certain nine year old American girl in my house.

5. Ottawa, Canada
4. Brazzaville, Congo
3. Tokyo, Japan
2. Minsk, Belorus
1. Baku, Azerbaijan

Honorable mention goes to Berlin, but that's because John F. Kennedy's famous quote pertaining to that city always has my daughter rolling on the floor laughing.
