Apparently it's again time to end a comic book movie franchise and go for another reboot, as Sony scraps Spider-Man 4. Both Dunst and Maguire won't return, and apparently Sam Raimi will be replaced, as well.

The reboot allegedly focuses on a younger Peter Parker, dealing with teenager woes.

Oh for the love sequels. They spend so much money and time to build up the character, and then they go off to make the tweens happy with teen boy crushes. Don't we have enough of awkwardness with the Twilight series?

I'm sorry. Was there anything wrong enough with the franchise that it called for a reboot?

Well, Spider-Man 3, albeit phenomenal action movie, was a joke of a spider-man film.

Why would you put two Stacey's in the film and not kill either???

BUT, last I heard, they were doing four with Lizard and John Malkovich as Vulture (yeah, I know, Malkovich, WTH?) so does that mean this is the concept of the reboot? Or are there seriously going to be two different spider-man movies within two years of eachcother??
