my mom name me **** off this really dumb movie (her favorite movie) called xanadu or what ever
so yeah im stuck with it but mabey when im older i will change it to jimmy

but most everybody calls me jimmy like all my friends and the people here

some people call me toad like my friends sarah and stevie and a few people in the chat room..but im not gonna tell you why
so i hate the name**** to me IT SUCKS

My first name is Martha, which is hebrew for Lady. My middle name (the name I go by) is Joy, which is Latin for joy. My last name is Butler.

My grandmother (mom's side) broke a long line of "Martha Louises" in our family. We still have the Louise (But spelled differently. Luese= combination of spelling of both of my grandmother's names. Both were Louises but with different spellings.)

One of my mom's friends thought that she was crazy for naming me that. I like it though.

Middle is Marie (so common in my town it's not even funny)

And my lasdt name...well it's Irish too, one of those "O'" then the rest names. Ex. O' Harrah.

My full name is Skylar Moray --------. (I no say)

Skylar is scandinavian, it means scholar or learned one.
Moray is my mum's maiden name, it used to be Moretski or something but when my great grandparents on my mum's side came to the US, it was changed to a more American sounding version, Moray.
My last name is Ukranian because thats where my dad's family is originally from.

My first name is after my dad's middle name and he got his middle name after his mothers last name.
Can't remember what Steyn means, I think it's stone.
de Kock means The Cock (as in the male chicken)

you can just call me Stone Cock

I don't usually give up my full given name on line, and believe me, I have my reasons,

But I do go by a nickname that's a derivation

Cyd, pronounced like "Sid".

My first name is Desirea. It was suppose to be Desiree but my dad didn’t know how to spell it right so I got what I got. I think it’s very nice and I feel like I’m special because it’s spelt differently then the millions of Desiree’s in the south. I just hate it how no one can ever pronounce it right the first time though. They keep saying Dez-er-ee instead of Dez-er-ray. It’s almost as bad when they try to say my last name.

I totally feel your pain. My first and last names are pretty much phonetic, but people still get them wrong. I try to be understanding, but when it's happened your whole life, it gets irritating. BTW, my first name is Alaina (ah-lane-ah).

My name is Charmetria Ranal --------- and I almost have no idea what it means. My mum said is was Creole and it means 'Charm-tree', but what exactly that is, I have no idea.. I literally spent the whole day a while ago trying to find it 's meaning on the net, all I got was Chrymadis or something...

Ranal, I've never really tried to find out, but it makes for a rather interesting name and it makes me laugh to hear people try to pronounce it, especially adults because they do a double take, then just say,

"Oh...that's...a-a BEA-utiful name..." and I just nod and smile...

I'm the only 'Charmetria' I know...tell me, does it sound wierd????

I've gotten used to it, so...
