Haha, Mr. Fluffin's description rocks. And is it just me, or does Creepy Kamikaze not look a little bit like a demented, female Willy Wonka (the new style)? Loving it. I know it wasn't meant to be, and it's not illegal, it's just what it reminded me of. :P

So you DID make a fish, Jill. Just when I thought I'd be okay with my main two, now I have to pull out my fish, as well. CURSE YOU! Nice work, though. :D

And thanks, Hooded!

And now, my other main:
The horrible ninja-controlling magician,
MIDNIGHT SHOW!

hah! that's priceless :D *pets Mr. Fluffins*

oh speaking of funny. have you all noticed that CoV is much funnier than Coh? the NPC dialogue, the contacts, etc. like Hellion girlfriends saying stuff like (paraphrasing) 'like, my mom always said i'd never ammount to anything. she was soooooo wrong!' and talking to eachother how they think their boyfriends jackets would be so much better with rhinestones. and in one Hellion mission, the boss was all like' i will destroy you! my fires will burn you to your core!' etc. typical bad guy monologue. then when you beat the crap out of him, he says 'oh.' as he's falling to the ground :lol lots of other funny stuff, one time i clicked a pedestrian and he jsut said 'I like pie!' that was bizarre. or the Goldbrickers playing dice in the street and one of them saying something like 'yeah! that's elleventythousand dollars you owe me now!' and all the graphiti artists always have something funny to say about what an artistic genius they are. the only time CoH got as funny was the Nemesis Automaton arc, with their talk about TPS reports, and cheesy 'regular joe' dialogue, or the Nemesis Lt. telling the Freaks he was meeting with "I assure you, my good man, Nemesis is most definitely 'down with the street.' Word up, my homie, as it were."

I'm going to have to start keeping track of the funny dialogue i come across.

I got the santa hat on most of my toons but since I'm an altaholic I quickly got tired of it and restricted it to the "few" characters I mainly focus on. I'm really glad they included a free taylor session with it. :)

Oh and I finally broke down and bought City of Villans. Media Play is going out of business and all of there stuff has incredible discounts right now. So I got a $50 dollar copy of the game for $27. Plus I got a DVD drive for Christmas so I can actually use it on my computer.

I had beta tested CoV and enjoyed it but wasn't sure if I wanted to commit more time to this all consuming MMORPG. But for $27 I couldn't resist.

I just need to brag a bit... today, I solo'd an AV. with an Ice tanker, the gimpiest of all the tanker sets. of course, it was an AV that my powers were well suited for - Maestro. It took forever though, once I ran out of red candy. But I was playing, and it was like 4 am, and no one was on.... I wanted to finish the contact off, so... figured I may as well give it a shot solo. a few screencaps i took during the fight....

oh, and right before that, she got the Freak chameleon suit

If only i could do that with my Corruptor in CoV, has 2 AV's and an Elite Boss clogging up her missions, but she has enough trouble soloing Elite Bosses right now, let alone an AV (and i understand Barracuda is particularly nasty, and she's one of them). *sigh*

Hey guys, anyone gotten their hands on CoH the collectible card game yet? I've gotten enough to make a deck for Green Belt and a couple of the pre-made heroes. It plays pretty much exactly like the computer game.

No... besides the card I got with CoV (Statesman) I haven't gottenanything form it... CCg's have never really been my thing (despite doing art for one of them)

but... I am posting to show a new tool... if you look at me and C's sigs, you cna see a nifty CoX status tool, to help keep track of your friends and such. they also have a smaller version of the graphic. it can be found here: http://www.citygametracker.com/default.aspx and it's really easy touse. just install it, create an account, and let it run in thebackground as you play CoX and it will keep track of your characters, and show when you are playing, and what character you are currently playing...

Look what i did today:

And that's all I have because then so many people came in, while lag was surprisingly not too bad, my graphics card gave up and stopped drawing Hami, so all i have really is pictures of a whole bunch of people huddled together.

It was my first raid, so i'm pleased with myself. luckily i had 3 friends who were also there for the first time, and we all got on to the raid leaders team. I was primarily part of the controllers healing shield, i mostly spammed my heal and AM, and occasionally rezed people. though really the casualties weren't as much as i was expecting.... i didn't even die once. got to help a bit with the holding phase with EMP.... blasted some mitos when the mito team was close enough.

next time, I think i will join the mito squad.

Andy - after you DC'd again, the boss showed up... and was an AV. he systematically slaughtered the rest of us, and we called it a night....

I didn't expect the SF to take quitethat long, but it was going SO WELL right up till that point... we will ahve to try this again sometime when C can make it as well so we can have a full team. and do it when the servers are more stable.... we'll get Peaceful Embrace and Sea Weed and the rest too, they're in coalition.

*edit - for those wondering what i was talking about: http://community.livejournal.com/cityov ... 35881.html

and you cna check that community for future SF's. Taffer (@Ex-calibur) usually organizes them

and just so you know, we had been planning this SF for a week, we ahd no idea i7 would hit when it did, so we didn't know we'd be dealing with a buffed AV....

Really sorry about that, Jill.

The server disconnected me again and I tried to reconnect several times before giving up.

Even lakeyed my attacks were missing more often than hitting, so I doubt my presence would have made much difference against the AV.

Actually only the germans do that and all blood in games must be green not red.
