We seem to be cat people on this site, but I found this picture of my dog this morning and I'd forgotten how expressive he could be. (He's gone now.)
It's so obvious what he's thinking. What a funny dog.

what an expressive face on him. What was wrong with him?
Oh, and since this is is the "post a cute picture thread" now I will hijack it and post a pic of my nephew Wout. He is 3 now; old timers here may remember me proudly announcing his birth!
This is Woutje and his auntie:
Lots of character in the little guy!

Awwwwwwwwwww!
My dog Bruno used to give me looks like that! (He's since been given to a family friend with a farm so he can live out his elder years chasing the ducks he always hated.)
That is just the cutes dog pic ever...

Aww. Woutje's a cutie Auntie Elwing.
The weird thing about that photo of Heywood is that it is the only time during his life that he stopped thinking "how can I change this situation so that there's more food for me", to think "would somebody get this damn thing off my head".
Heywood had a chronic rash during his final months so to keep him from licking himself bloody, he had to wear that elizabethan collar all the time. He hated it. Poor guy.

Heywood's a good looking dog - he looks like the perfect breed for hiking and outdoor stuff. I hope he didn't have to wear the e-collar for too long.
That's a cute photo of Elwing's nephew! Did he do his hair himself? He definitely seems to have attitude in that picture.
If this is the thread for puppy pics, here's one of my favorites of my dog, Kuma:
Yes, she ate those sections of her bandana while she was wearing it.
And yes, she's as dumb as she looks. (Fluff for brains - but she's a real teddy bear)
Morgan's been the family dog since grade school. She'll be 10 years old tomorrow. She's Kuma's opposite in just about every way:

Aww, replaced as the baby of the house - that's always tough for animals! Pug's have very expressive faces - I really like the breed.
I found this pic awhile ago, the poor little guy looks so terrified!

*laughing* Yes, she can see...though when she was a puppy, we used to be afraid that her eyes would pop out if we rubbed her head too hard!
She is the most expressive dog ever...quite the cutie (though she snores like an noisy old man!)

I don't think I've ever met a pug (cute as I think they are) without the pop-out eyes and the respiratory problems. Hazard of the breed I guess
