I am really getting drawn into this story. I can't wait to see what happens next.

And Kurt, any excuse for a cuddle from Ororo, but not very original :LOL. I love it.

Blue, you and Maddie are doing a splendid job.

I'm so looking forward to the next chapters, myself. The dream sequence was hard to represent, but now that I've got the radial blurred theme, I'll stick with it.

And Priscellie, I'm so glad you liked my addition of the ghost images in chapter 7! blue provided some of the lineart as well as the coloured stuff, so I just added them in and set the layer style to "overlay" to make them fade out.

BTW, if anyone wants layout how-to, I'll be happy to explain how I did stuff.

Edited to add - blue, if you like, at the end of this I can send you the full size, 1000 pixel wide photoshop files, so you can have the better resolution to play with. They're behemoths, tho.

That's okay, I really wouldn't know what to do with them anyway, but thanks for asking!

Now, a very silly update. My significant other is not a fan of the X-men - I know, it's shocking. But, he puts up with my weird hobby with much good humor. Anyway, he decided that - as much as he likes Mad's dialogue - he could do a better job :P So, he did a little spoof of the first two pages. 1st page is a little hard to read, but it's do-able. Anyway, I was ROFL when I read these, so I thought I'd share. I think they make you appreciate Maddie's work all the more :LOL

Oh my god! I love those - they're frickin' hilarious. I hope he spoofs the rest of them. I made the mistake of logging in to check this while breakfast was cooking and now the kids are giving me the strangest looks and want to know why I'm laughing my ass off.:LOL:LOL

So your man is a comedian too Bluefooted? It's truly funny to see a guy's take on things. His parody had my husband roaring. :LOL

I'm sorry you can't see them :( They seem to work for most people, so I really don't know how to fix the problem.

I bet he'll do more - he likes making fun of Kurt ;) He's working on page 3 right now...

After much vacationing... It's back! Did you miss us ??? Look how cute we are :puppy

Anyway, Maddie's been extra creative with this one, livening up another talking scene. So, she should take the credit. More soon...

:LOL Kurt on Ritalin. That's priceless. Of course, it might have helped him as a hyperactive child, but as a hyperactive adult.... ;)

I'm hooked on this comic! I can't wait to find out what's really going on! The artwork is beautiful and the interaction between Kurt and Ororo is really fun to see! I love it! :D

Very cute, very funny. I can't imagine Kurt on ritalin.
I'm feeling kind of intimidated by the scary figure lurking in the background of the last panel.

Hope you two had a great vacation. Nice to have you back. :D

I just can't get enough of this comic, the picture frames are very creative.

Well, Kurt does quite literally bounce off the walls, but Ritalin :doh!

As always, sheer perfection, you two! I've been so anxiously awaiting the next installment, I honestly did a double-take when I saw you had updated with a link. "Nooo ... can it be?? Is it ... ? Whoo-HOOOO!"

Fabulous, dahlinks! :D

We promise to never, never leave you again... There, feel better ;) I'll color page 10 on Saturday (had to re-draw some of it - darned cats :evil) and it should be up soon after that.

This comic feels like it's taking a really long time to get moving, but I think we're averaging about one small page a week (compared to a normal comic page). So, it might take a while before it gets done, but it will! And I tend to overestimate the amount I can fit on one page - so it's actually getting longer as we go. Hmmm, kind of like one of those endless hallways in a horror movie...

Woo hoo, welcome back!

Blue, darlin', as far as I'm concerned, you can take as long as you like to get where you're headed. That just means more installments, right? :)

You and Maddie are doing fabulous jobs - love those the picture frames, just the latest in the excellent layout ideas.
