Cartoons about Kurt as a kid
Sorry Cibo, I just googled the terms and there are colleges in Germany. It seems to be set up the same way as here, where colleges cover the more 'applied' subjects and universities go for the intense stuff.

Um, I guess what you probably mean is a Berufskolleg (vocational college) or a Fachhochschule (advanced technical college). So you're right. As I went to a Gymnasium and to University afterwards I kinda forgot the translation of those terms. But I doubt it it is the highest of aspirations for a mother to send her child to a vocational college. *_*;
And now there's life/ And a chance to make up for all those mistakes/ But please don't get me wrong/ Cos everything was honest/ True and from the heart/ There's still the same old hang ups so don't fret/ It's not safe yet/ And who knows there's always time to screw up again

A circus school would be college level. And a little boy like Kurt would probably want to become a painter or a vet...
And as a mom Margali would want him to follow the path that makes him happy.
Oh, and as someone who went through both systems, I never saw much difference between the two.

Hi, I really love your comic strips, they kinda have that Care Bears look to them.
I quickly glanced over all the posts but I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this. I think you forgot to draw an integral part of Kurt in Comic 2 Panel 3.
No Tail.
Can't wait for the next strip!

Very much looking forward to the next strip as well.
I really like that youve started shading Kurt, capturing the 'blue' of his skin/fur.
Everytime I look at the one with Kurt and Stefan at the beach I cant help giggling my arse off... LOL... too cute! !
BAMF!

Lil' kurt number 10 is up! Double digits, yoohoo! This, by the way, is the idea that started this whole story arc that...still...doesn't have a name.
(Will swap sketch for half-decent title) There was a number 9 but it got published while 'Nightscrawlers' was down.
Thanks again to all you wonderful people who saved the site!:kiss

ROFL! I love it! "You're a real boy, all right..." I love him touching on his spirituality and keeping his humour at the same time! Keep it up!

I loved the last one, reminds me a little of Pinocchio.
I also liked the one with Kurt on the "Blue Knight" sign. You might have made a mistake with that, but I think it ended up being very appropriate.
This is off topic, but since you mentioned it Shadowscrawl, yay for Discovery and her crew. I got to see it first hand! Too bad it was a little cloudy where I was and the pic didn't turn out too well or I'd post it.

Aaaahhh!
That is one of my dreams, to see it in person!
Actually Northstar mentioned the event first by putting it in his title.
Is there a lot of Nightscrawlers out there the Space Program?
Enough to start a thread in 'off-topic'? That would be nice...should I?

That's a terrible title! No sketch for you!
No kidding now, I meant "a" sketch. I'll gladly do a request as long as it's NC related. I don't mind giving away one that's already been done as long as the person requesting it understands that the originals are on the rough side (sandpaper on broken glass kind of rough).
I just can't find a good title and it's bugging me!
A picture is worth a thousand words...I'll settle for a dozen, tops.

OH. I get it. I thought you were talking about that great sketch that was up there in lieu of one of the episodes. I don't know of a title but I'll try thinking of one. I'd love a sketch; sketches and line art are my favourite kinds of art for some reason.

Yay you liked it! Based him on 'Don Camillo', a village priest who was always fighting with the mayor. He would talk to Jesus very casually all the time, and Jesus would do the same. It was a series of comedy movies done in France in the sixties.

Oh, wow! I love that sketch of Lil' Kurt with the dragonfly! It reminds me of the drawing of six-year-old Kurt near the end of Excalibur #77. Beautiful! The video camera was brilliant as well, and I liked the holy water scene! These comics are so COO-O-OOL!!!

super nifty 'toons Shadowscrawl - actually the priest talking to God like that reminded me more of the Vicar of Dibley more than anything else... and i think that Braveheart movie... where there was an Irish fellow constantly tilting his head up and making offhand comments to God - well it was either in that or Robin Hood - I forget.
[Edit] "You're a real boy alright." LOL!

*after reading the latest gory/depressing "mainstream" comic* ....*sigh* that's it, I'm packin' up and moving back to the Eighties...

thanks Kladyelf.
The 'Irish King' who spoke to God was in Braveheart. Don't forget the main character in 'Fiddler on the roof' and mouse in 'Ladyhawk' (one of my favourite movies). Don Camillo just stands out because he was speaking to his boss...and his boss awnsered! (But I'm not going to do that)

Hey there!
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Just wanted to say that I really love your comic!
The art is great and the jokes are very funny.
As for your storyline title problem, I've been trying to help ponder.
All I came up with was these:
Sanctuary! (à la Hunchback. )
So a Blue Kid Runs Into a Church... (or something to that effect)
It's Only Skin Deep
I dunno. I'm bad with titles too. But, hey. I tried
Maybe those lame suggestions will spark some ideas. Who knows?
Keep up the good work!
