Well, don't get me wrong, Michael Moore is a populist of the worst fashion, presents one-sided views, and is far too loud (after my taste, at least), but yeah, Norway is a nice place to live:

The line about the guy who cut up two humans with a chainsaw and then was allowed to work in the woods with one kinda cracked me up :shifty
:freak :andreas They're fighting!

Michael Moore makes Bastoy Prison sound like a vacation resort. Granted, it seems like a much better working environment for the staff, but I got an inkling that Bastoy does not represent the whole Norwegian prison system any more than Club Fed represents US prisons.

And not everyone shares Michael Moore's views on Norway's justice system or its crime rates.

In general, I think Norway is no different than any other developed nation. There are some things they do right, and some things that need improvement. And some Norwegians think the US and Canada are better places to live, including about half of my husband's relatives.
