A Marvel Legends Icon 12inch figure.
Looks like it was based off Pat Lee's version of 'Crawler from that horrible X-men fantastic four crossover a few years ago.

I'm assuming it is a new figure because i've never seen it before and that it is being offered as a preorder on a couple of sites. (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu ... egory=3003)

and for those who haven't seen the new statue...

Action Figure looks cool, But I'll stick w/ my classic 6-inch Nighty. But that statue rocks. If only it weren't a hundred bucks, w/o shipping.

Actually on other sites it's closer to 60. I just grabbed a site with a good pic.

Yeah, but then I saw THIS on a site to which a friend directed me!

nice! Good to see that somebody is still willing to invest in Nighty. The Nightcrawler/Spidey set is at least 10 years old, may be from the 80's even...

I have the crawler/sm, it's pretty cool. It was a Wal mart exclusive I believe. Came out in mid 90's I think ( i just remember finding it at the store and being really suprised at the older Crawler figure).

Regarding the newer Marvel Legends Icon figure. Well I've been doing research and it looks like it will never be (http://superarticulated.com/2008/04/10/ ... /#more-296). Could be why the one on ebay was from hong kong and went for so much.

At least the writer of the article mourns there being no nighty as well....

Boo! Hiss!

There's a new line of action figures based on Wolverine and the X-Men...but there's no Nightcrawler!

Oh. You scared me, Nandireya. That's not Wolverine and the X-Men, that's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the movie. Thank goodness!

O.o! I see you can buy Wolvie's electronically operated claws.

Maybe I'll get some for the hubby. :love

It WAS both...the Wolverine and the X-Men ones are at the bottom of the page...at least they were when I looked at it...

There were two Wolverines (one in and one out of costume), Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, Avalanche, Magneto and Collosus...they've broken up the page into two...the Wolverine and the X-Men ones are here now...

So my Boo! Hiss! was not in vain.

I believe you, Nandireya, but it is gone again.

It must be a conspiracy between Marvel and Toywiz to play with our minds.

I might have to get those claws for shits and giggles....

And I', actually not too disappointed there isn't a Nighty toy for Wolverine and the X-Men. They left out some of the other good characters like Rogue, Kitty, and Storm.

Female figures are few and far between because toy manufacturers have the mind-set that action figures are all bought by pre-pubescent boys who don't want to play with girl figures. The Marvel ones aren't always so sexist, but this line IS based on a cartoon...an action cartoon...which are usually aimed at the 7 - 11 boy market...there are heaps of cartoon-based toylines that never see the female characters made into action figures, no matter how important they are to the show.

I think I have the one of Kurt.... I think that's old... unless they got a new series of Marvel Legends and they just have a sculptor who really sucks and can't differentiate between different Kurts.
