New X-Men piece in the Gallery...

A monument and archive dedicated to Dave and Paty Cockrum. Nightscrawlers was their home on the internet and always will be. This forum preserves that legacy.

--which I'm soliciting names for. There are several others, some in the main gallery, some in 'Silly Stuff', some in the Legion folder.

Enjoyu! :D

The second one looks a *HELL* of a lot like your average 50's pulp sci-fi cover to me...

Something like "Shocking! Tales of horror from Beyond!" or suchlike.

I like the Dark Phoenix pic (whoa! look! she's *not* anorexic! woo hoo!) :)

*looks at whatzit*
*blinks*
Oooh -kaay....

*suddenly is reminded of an old Anne McCaffrey bookcover*

innnteresting....
(actually it sortof reminds me of a kinda organic "brainship" or maybe one of the "Corviki" in Anne McCaffrey's book The Ship who Sang, with the woman as a representation of Helva. But that's just me....)

and the futurians is just cool, makes me wish i'd known about is sooner..... mind you i probably would have been too young to read then!
meddle not in the affairs of ficcers for you are malleable and easily .... O_o *stares* ooh is that a cookie?

Love your enemies - It will drive them nuts!

Crazy.... but in the nicest possible way....

To Stupidityyyyy - and beyond!

*after reading the latest gory/depressing "mainstream" comic* ....*sigh* that's it, I'm packin' up and moving back to the Eighties...

Not on the Futurians stuff, no. Paty did all that. Except for the character sheets, and I did do those.

Dave, thanks for posting more of your beautiful art!
It's greatly appreciated!

Seeing all of the Futurians stuff is making me want so much more.

I noticed many of the characters that you had created appear on the last panel of the Futurians Sample Page #4.
I didn't realize that you had created the Felicia Hardy Black Cat as well as this one:

Yep, I came up with two Black Cat designs. The Felicia Hardy one came several years after the one that ultimately became Storm.
