first, shagging a girlfriend is not sleeping around. sleeping around applies more than 1 person.
second, the bed thing was done all in fun. he makes a joke about the size, she jokes about him not being in it. i have female and male friends that make sexual jokes of this nature all the time. no one ever takes it seriously.
Kurt is a flirt, like the old romantic swashbucklers. Flirting does not necessitate sex. If i can recall correctly the only women we have evidence for actual 'relations' would be Amanda, Cerise, and the woman from issue 16. If we were to attempt to list the women he's kissed, well we'd be here awhile.

Dave, your creations brought joy to my life and inspired my imagination. R.I.P.

The anticipation is killing me. Both to read the issue and read your thoughts on it. (If you have any more thoughts on it? Seems you might have covered it all already. )fourpawsonthefloor wrote: I wouldn't be surprised to see a fan girl having wrote this story. That's just how it felt to me. Sorta...sueish.
I'll leave it a week or two till I post specific spoilers. .
I'm going home at lunch today to try to track this down. (Wasn't available yet yesterday.)

Oh, I have thoughts that are far from covered. Find me in chat. LOL

I found that suitcase yesterday! For some reason, I thought it was a window sill.
You are right Elfdame. It is a little like looking at a Highlights Hidden Pictures. My mom made me take a subscription to that magazine when I was little. No wonder I utterly stunk at the Hidden Pictures, if I think a suitcase is a window with a handle.

Ah yes, Quitting time! The funniest thing is that I've been anxiously awaiting for it to come out, and I kid you not, the day it does, I come down with the flu! No joke. I've been sitting in my bed like an invilid with an incredibly high fever, and no energy to make it out to the comic book store. *cough, sniffle*
From what I've been hearing, fans haven't really hated the comic itself, just the idea of the comic. The whole "return of the Draco Arc" scare, from what I can tell, really could have been avoided altogether lol. I'm glad to hear that Kurt had some time to recollect himself, and he displays that in many aspects of the comic, like how he sweeps his number one fan off her feet and I forgot how, but also implements his Catholic faith somewhere. Of course this is all word-of-mouth, so if I get I get anything wrong, I'm sorry.

Hi, Zanfandel! I haven't gotten to read it either, but if you're interested in a spoiler, this one is good:

Actually, we have an entire subforum dedicated to his origin, histories and such -- including Nightcrawler's creation as written by Dave Cockrum himself. And rather a lot of images (though maybe not every costume in order ) in our image galleries.neling4 wrote: We should open our own virtual museum thread, right here on Nightscrawlers. We could start with a thread about his origin (the real one, not the "arc-which-shall-not-be-named), and his early life, and how he came to join the X-Men. We could have a thread with pictures of his various uniforms, in chronological order, etc. etc.

I suppose we could say the entire Nightscrawlers site is a virtual museum dedicated to Nightcrawler. I guess my idea was redundant. I must have been having an old lady moment.Slarti wrote:Actually, we have an entire subforum dedicated to his origin, histories and such -- including Nightcrawler's creation as written by Dave Cockrum himself. I hope he keeps the swords and the fangirl. I've always wished Kurt would find a nice girl who isn't (completely) insane, never disassembled the Avengers, isn't evil, hasn't ever lied to him about her identity or hid a Soulsword in him without first notifying him, didn't kill him in an alternate reality, and has never eaten lipstick. So I'd like to see more of Ms. Keller, and maybe see her as more than just the fawning, twitterpated fangirl.SmoothBamf wrote:Quitting time was awsome hopefuly he keeps the swords
(Oh, and I laughed at how she looked quite off guard with that kiss, despite the fact that Kurt had been laying on the charm since he'd first seen her.)

When you put it that way, it sounds like Kurt needs an intervention with Dr. Phil.Angelique wrote:

(Wow, I came in way too late to this conversation. )
I really need to find "Quitting Time" but my local comic shop doesn't have it... Now I'm dying to know what happens!

What is the meaning of life, my dear?
What is the meaning of all you hold near?
Why is it that you cry at night
when there's no one around you to hear?

It's actually called "Manifest Destiny" now. So maybe your local comic book store has that?
I thought it was very funny and definitely worth the read.

The issue really gave me faith about Nightcrawler's future.

If Nightcrawler does leave i'm afraid Marvel will lose all sense of awesomeness
