Hiya Dave, since Dragon*Con is only about two hours from where you live, I was wondering if you were going to make it to the show this labor day?

It's a possibility. I have a number of friends who attend, and they're all asking me to get together with them there.

I envy you in this, Dave. :puppy I would attend DragonCon just for the opportunity of getting a few souvenirs with their dragon emblem for my collection. I did get several sets of their 6-sided dice (you use a lot of them for Champions), but I had so much trouble with the on-line transaction that I swore off dealing with their website.

Dragon Con is the highlight of my year, every year. This Dragoncon with my 5th one. I will definitely be there.

If anyone else is going it would be fun to meet up at some point over the course of the weekend. Usually these kinds of meetings happen at a nearby restaurant. As we get closer and if folks are interested, I can get something going. I've done this before.

only 118 days until DragonCon!

I have a bunch of artist friends who are trying to twist my arm and other torture moves to get me to go this year. I even have cheap lodgings:p So...even though it IS completely across the continent from me...I'm kinda thinkin' of going. 'twould be fun!

I can't tell you how many cons I need to get to (this one included), but alas, it's always something, money, transportation, time. *sighs*

Daniel: "What the hell are you doing here?"
Vala: "Isn't this my room?"
Daniel: "Noooo… your room is across the hall… with the… guard in front of it."
Vala: "Ah yes, they do all rather look alike don't they? Anyhow, Since I'm here, shall we make the best of it?"
Daniel: "No, we shalln't."

Dave and Paty, any decision made on attending Dragon*Con this weekend? Who else plans on braving the freaks, geeks, goths, stormtroopers and other assorted wierdness that decends on Atlanta every Labor Day??? :D

We'll be there on Sunday, but we won't have a table. We'll be wandering around like all the other geeks.
