Pirates of the Carribbean?

A monument and archive dedicated to Dave and Paty Cockrum. Nightscrawlers was their home on the internet and always will be. This forum preserves that legacy.

Hey Dark Bamf, How many times would Kurt drag his x-buddies to see Pirates of the carribean, and how many times would he run it in the Danger room...as a huge simulation? :D

Y'got me. I'm embarrassed to confess that I've only seen Pirates once, and I fell asleep and missed about half of it.

Hmmm... bearing Mr. Cockrum's reaction in mind, perhaps Kurt Wagner would offer the opinion that Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp couldn't hold a candle to Earl Flynn's work :P

Myself, I liked Pirates of the Carribbean. Fun movie.

To be fair, I did enjoy what I saw of it, and I liked Johnny Depp very much. The falling asleep thing is something that's been chronic with me ever since the hospital stay. I have to sit bolt upright in an uncomfortable chair while watching a movie. If I get comfortable--especially if I'm laying down--I fall asleep, no matter how much I like the movie.

Argh, my daughter has watched this movie every day for two weeks. I can recite the dialog right along with the characters. We even have a lively pirate bathroom now.

i think Kurt would Go nuts over PotC! he'd probably have a lot to say about the sword fight between Orlando and Johnny - i heard in the build up to the movie it was supposed to be the best since the Princess Bride, and i have to say it was pretty good - i know that Ultimate X-men in order to be trendy havent made their Kurt an Errol fan, but he is a pirates fan...

and a lil' offtopic i know but - Winnowill, is that icon of yours "Murray" from the Lucasfilm game 'The Curse of Monkey Island'? if so - cool!!!! - Dave, if your compy is a Windows PC then this is a cute (and rather funny) lil' pirate game!
meddle not in the affairs of ficcers for you are malleable and easily .... O_o *stares* ooh is that a cookie?

Love your enemies - It will drive them nuts!

Crazy.... but in the nicest possible way....

To Stupidityyyyy - and beyond!

*after reading the latest gory/depressing "mainstream" comic* ....*sigh* that's it, I'm packin' up and moving back to the Eighties...

My computer is a flat screen iMac G5, and I don't care for computer games.

Kurt would absolutely fall in love with Pirates Of The Carribean, and I could easliy see him incessantly quoting the movie daily until Wolverine went berserker on him or Colossus threw him off the mansion grounds. Kurt would probably end all his sentences with "savvy?"

On that note, I could see Johnny Depp playing the role of Kurt as well.
