Dressed top to bottom adidas nmd r1 triple black fabric Primeknit, design details plotted throughout the shoe bring together the worlds of heritage and future. While Primeknit sits at the newer end of the timeline, the protruding plugs that pierce through the midsole were originally used on the Micropacer, Rising Star and Boston Super as a technical method of altering midsole density during the mid 80’s. The red and blue tones were also used on the midsoles of all the aforementioned, hence why they’ve found a new home on this recent outing.

As with many adidas NMDs, this pair sits on a white BOOST midsole underfoot complete with grey coloured EVA midsole plugs.To complete the look, adidas nmd r1 olive that customary heel tab at the rear includes ‘The Brand With The Three Stripes’ lettering and embroidered adidas Originals logo sits on the tongue. Finally, a sticky black outsole gives traction and stability on a variety of surfaces.

The adidas nmd r1 womens comes in two different colors, or actually camouflages. One version comes in a traditional colorway, green, beige and dark shades. The other version is mainly dark, dark blue and dark purple hues. The BAPE logo can be found in and around the shoe, but in a very nice subtle way.
