Or you could kill them both off. ;)

Wolverine's got some good lines, but Cyke is just annoying. Of course, if you got rid of him, who would we make fun of?

True dat! :D
Think about it, would it be such a crime if Wolverine got obliterated? He's in practically every X-book, EVER. It would be a major plot twist to se Americas favorite X-man eat it. It would rock!

well yo have him in Wolverine, New, Uncanny and usually atleast one mini at one time... i think you can get your fill of Wolverine that way ;) not that i am a huge Cyke fan, but his interactions with Nightcrawler were *priceless!* the way Nighty thumped him with a frying pan... and when they were blowing up that....thing... for Weapon X and Kurt was getting all frustrated with Cyke... it was great :)

If you go solely on the mentality of the books so far, that "lets do just the exact oposite of what people are thinking" It'll be wolverine, because he is so popular. That said, i would still rather cyke be the one to bite the proverbial bullet;)

I don't buy for a second that they'd kill Wolverine. And I find this version to be more annoying that the regular Wolverine.
Anyway see my previous post on the Uncanny thread for how I feel about killing characters for shock value.

I did laugh at Wolverine's "Longest pee in history" line, though. He has said some funny things.

yea, he has. Given the choice between him and cyclopse, id choose him, but I still think he'd be the one to go. Think about it. How much sales would an issue where wolvie dies generate? Then again, they could do the exact same thing with a cyclopse dying issue.............hmm, hadnt thought about that....and then they could get a lot of Jean angst........:P

Well, also, I think Wolverine is the best one with Wolverine in it. Otherwise, it beats out the Cyclops mini, that reflected upon their oh so great leader. hee hee :naughty:

Oh god, not the Cyclops mini. You can't blame that on the character though. Cyke had no control over THAT.

Like Garbs, I think it's silly to kill characters just for the hell of it. However, if one eats it I'd rather see it be Wolverine. He's SO overused. He needs a vacation. Marvel would love the sales boost of killing him, fans (and haters) would get to see the great one fall, and we'd still have the "real" cannon Wolvie kicking around in 616.

Duuuude, they're Bamfs! evil lil' Bamfs! How can they be anything else? They also have an unhealthy fascination for the young and nubile too, (pirate Kitty remember?) **hides her Ultimate X-men collection**
Mind you they could also be
.... dun dun dunnnnnnn.....
......Fanboys......
Twisted by the utter fannishness for JG and other characters of the X they leak through the holes in reality! :D :P ;)

... or something :)
I don't really hate either character, Jean, Cyke or Wolvie, but i can't help but thing Wolvie's a little like a blackberry bush, you've gotta kill him a little bit to stop him from taking over the comic :)
so maybe he does get deaded, just a little, just around the edges *.* :)
anyway, bring on the dancing nightcrawlers!
meddle not in the affairs of ficcers for you are malleable and easily .... O_o *stares* ooh is that a cookie?

Love your enemies - It will drive them nuts!

Crazy.... but in the nicest possible way....

To Stupidityyyyy - and beyond!

*after reading the latest gory/depressing "mainstream" comic* ....*sigh* that's it, I'm packin' up and moving back to the Eighties...
