Believe it or not, my name really is Siona. It's from an old Western book, after a Cherokee brave (I'm named after a GUY?!?!

My last name is Webster. Yes indeed, I AM related to the dude who wrote the dictionary!

I am also nicknamed Vlad, Red, and Lei, short for Leila. Also, I am known as Abdul Abulbul Amir. In chat, I am known as Sapphie... And if you prefer, ManSapphie. *points to signiture* Leila means dark beauty/black as night. I love it, and wouldn't change it for anything! My middle name is Diane, which is absolutely dull. But, if it is shortened as Di, it sounds better. My initials are L.D.H. and occasionally my last name is Cooper, because it is the closest ancestor name that is Scotish. no, it's not a nickname. it's not short for Barbara or anything. It's really Barbie. It's on my birth certificate and everything.

Is it cool? Yeah, sometimes. It's original. But it caused a rough childhood for me and a lot of broken teeth for mean boys.

Well, it's Polish, or something, so if you were from Poland, it's pronouned 'Mark-aye-vitch', but usually we just pronounce it 'Mark-a-witz'. Saves a lot of time.

Mine is definitely Native American...odd, though, that my mum chose a Cherokee name when I'm very distantly-related to Sacagawea through her daughter born after the famed trip with Lewis and Clark, making me part Shoshonee.

my 1st name is Tracey- & i have a long German last name (which was tough in grade & middle school & was frequtly butchered by everyone)- i'll give you a hint i earned the nickname Baldy, Budweiser (the beer)- or anything german was added on- wurst strudel etc
it dosent bother me now in college-when the professors come to my name, i love seeing their reactions
