Semester 1

The first class of the Xavier University arrives and discovers who they'll be rooming with, but the next day Piotr comes to Xavier with bad news. His parents were killed, his sister kidnapped, and he has to return to Russia. Xavier funds his trip home and promises to tell the truth about why Piotr is gone should anyone ask.

Bored, Remy goes room to room to gather a group of students, and they sneak off to Vito's Red Velvet Lounge. Once at the bar, Remy and TJ sneak off to the bathroom to smoke while a few others meet Dez at the bar. After returning from the bathroom, TJ meets Dez and goes off on her, storming out of the bar with Wanda and Dez following. TJ doesn't take Dez's apology and goes back in for another drink. One of Jamie's clones is sent to assess the situation outside and stays outside to talk to Dez and Wanda, all of them admitting they're mutants. Doug also nervously approaches the group and tries to work up the courage to go into the bar. They all end up going back inside. Meanwhile, TJ and Remy go to dance, which ends in TJ hurling and being led back outside. As the group prepares to sneak back to the school, they're caught by Mr. Wagner.

After the night out, the group converges in the kitchen for breakfast, where they meet Emma Frost. Plagued with a hangover, Mr. Wagner drags TJ down to the infirmary while Jean and Emma verbally abuse each other, which ends in Jean leaving the room. Jean wanders down to the infirmary to check on how things are going and goes back to breakfast to report to the others how TJ while Mr. Wagner continues to talk to TJ, telling her that he knew her mother. TJ tells him not to talk to her anymore and goes to join the group. While that conversation is going on, Xavier wheels himself into the room and declares that anyone who snuck out past curfew is to not leave the grounds for the rest of the week, which causes protests and gives him a better idea for a punishment. He leads the group down to a large, metal-walled room that's being used as a storage space. The punishment is to clear the space, and the group gets to work doing so with their powers. TJ joins the group in the room and angrily lashes out until Remy pulls her aside, both deciding they needed to smoke later. Xavier and Wagner eventually show up to check on their progress, deciding the students managed to do a good job and deserve lunch.

The students make their way upstairs for lunch where Xavier introduces them to Angel Salvatore, another new student, before leaving them to enjoy their lunches. The students go about eating their lunch, Remy and TJ showing up a bit late, and chatting until Xavier returns to announce that the school now has a nurse, Annie, and she's to meet the students and find out if they have any issues, other than their mutations. She meets with TJ and Dez first to determine what their powers are and sends TJ off with a handful of condoms while the others get to know Angel at lunch. As TJ and Dez return and get into yet another argument, Wanda and Toad are sent down to the nurse while the others question how the meeting was. Wanda checks out, as does Toad, but he also gets to leave with a toothbrush, mouthwash, and floss. Meanwhile, the argument between TJ and Dez has turned into a fight, which ends in Dez kissing TJ and absorbing her powers. TJ passes out, and Dez loses control of the other girl's powers, eventually fleeing as Wanda and Toad return to the dining room. Xavier then summons Jamie and Doug down to the infirmary for their check-ups. TJ starts to wake up, the others try to make sure she's okay, and Dez returns, offering to smoke with TJ as a way of apologizing for what she'd done. Down in the infirmary, Jamie finishes up his examination while Annie questions Doug about a mutation he's not aware he has. Once they finish, she asks for them to send Remy and Angel, who have moved out to the patio with some others for smokes. As Remy and Angel head for their meeting with Annie, TJ heads back to the dining room and finds Doug, leaving Wanda and Dez with Jamie. Remy and Angel, both apprehensive, about the visit are questioned, ending with Remy getting a vaccination and Angel fainting at the sight of it. Eventually, everyone returns to the dining room, where Doug tries to come to terms with the fact that he's being told he's a mutant.

TJ, determined to find some time alone, goes out to the patio only to have everyone else show up too. Everyone hangs out, and everyone manages to get along until and argument breaks out between Angel and TJ. En Sabah Nur, a new arrival to the school, makes his way to the patio to meet everyone but ends up sneaking off to have some fun with Angel in the bushes.

Wagner decides he needs to go for a walk while Remy and TJ sneak out into the woods on the grounds for a joint and drinks. While on his walk, Wagner runs across TJ and Remy and tells them to return to the school. The students protest but turn the alcohol over, and Wagner heads back to the school himself while TJ and Remy continue talking. TJ admits to Remy that Wagner is her father, and they kiss again. Wagner returns Remy's backpack full of contraband to Remy's room.

TJ attempts to sneak back into her room without waking her roommate, Raven, but fails when she stubs her toe. She confides in Raven that Wagner is her father as well, and then Jamie shows up. Not soon after Jamie explains why he's up, Remy appears at the window and ends up spending the night in the girls' room.

Dez and Emma hang out on the roof and are glad to find someone they can actually get along with.

Remy and Jamie sit and watch the baseball game and chat about what the purpose of the school is and girls.

TJ and Dez are stuck in an elevator and attempt to work out their differences by getting to know one another while smoking a joint.

After a long day of classes, everyone gathers in the dining room for dinner before going for a lecture from Spider, who preaches about journalism and telling the truth. He offered to take them to a rally where Robert Kelly, who's running for Senate, is set to speak. After the lecture, a group gathers on the patio to discuss what was talked about while Dez and Emma make their way to the roof and Sid and Raven watch Iron Chef in Sid's room.

After falling asleep during TV time, Sid and Raven have an interesting dream that Remy interrupts.

TJ and Remy get together to do homework, but Remy has other plans. He's stolen Spider's laptop and hacks it for information on Kelly, which TJ doesn't find interesting.

Everyone has a lazy day in the rec room and discovers where Piotr has been.

Unable to sleep, Wanda finds her way to the rec. room, where Jamie is out on the couch, as does TJ and Remy. Awakened by TJ sitting on him, Jamie makes room on the couch, and the four start a conversation that leads to Wanda and Remy theorizing about what the school's intent really is. They decide to break into Xavier's office to find out, leaving an upset TJ. Upon being caught, Wanda used a hex bolt to tip Xavier's wheelchair over and give them a chance to escape. Jamie jumped on the chance to get away, but Remy remained to question the Professor's motives until Wanda manages to drag him away. Afterward, Jamie and Wanda returns to the rec. room while Remy goes to apologize to TJ.

A group visits an apple orchard and has an apple fight.

Waking up in the rec. room after breaking into Xavier's office, Wanda decides to sneak off, still unsure of the school's intent. Wanda returns to the rec. room to find Jamie awake and watching TV. He decides to run away with her. They go bowling and run into some trouble, heading back to Xavier's afterward.

Sid reveals a secret case to Raven and takes the contents to the Kelly rally, only to wake up and discover it was a dream.

Remy and TJ sneak up to the roof.

Remy, TJ, Wanda, and Jamie watch a movie in the rec. room, though TJ and Remy ditch part-way through. At the sound of a scream, Jamie and Wanda go to investigate and end up finding TJ and Remy skinny dipping in the pool. Raven and Jean eventually make their way to the pool as well. Raven manages to pinch a bottle of tequila from the kitchen by disguising herself while Jamie and Wanda head back in for popcorn. Jamie heads back outside in time for everyone to be caught by Nurse Annie.

During class, Doug realizes his mutant powers. TJ and Remy have a scare.

Everyone gathers to hang out in the rec room, but a storm knocks the power out. There's a knock on the door, and Piotr goes to answer it, only to find that it's the cops with Warren.

Professor Howlett.

Raven and Doug have a study date.

The students are stuck with Howlett for the weekend and don't want to rehearse his play, so they plot against him. They'd rather take a trip into the city instead. The trip doesn't go as planned, and TJ's attacked because of her appearance, which leads to a fight between her and Remy after getting back to the University. The morning after their fight, Wagner and Remy have a chat on the patio while TJ realizes how different her appearance really is.

Dez crashes into the auditorium just in time to do improv for Howlett and causes more tension between TJ and Remy. After class is dismissed, Remy decides to alter Howlett's Opus with Doug and Jamie's help and then introduces Doug to porn, which leads to them drunkenly talking on the lawn.

Semester 2

Semester 2

The 2nd Semester begins in an early morning introduction to new students by Dr. Hank McCoy and Father Wagner. It becomes clear Xavier's mansion is slowly (but surely) filling up and some of these heads may start to butt.

Meanwhile, Father Wagner's personal life begins to unravel to his students.

In the 100th Game of Nightscrawlearth, Father Wagner takes the gang to the Danger Room for some demonstrations. Lizzie & TJ quickly turn the demonstration in acrobatics into demonstrations of sharp-tongued insults. Poor Remy is caught in the middle. Not too soon after, the Xavier Academy welcomed a new student into their campus, Longshot.

More of Father Kurt's past continues to reveal itself, and he finds Remy LeBeau to be a useful confidant.

Other newer students start to warm up to some of the "First Class" students things begin to heat up. Meanwhile, more evidence of Kurt's problematic relationship with his daughter Talia is also developed, but Father Wagner soldiers on and helps students find their place at XU. TJ herself continues to show her growing problems with her relationship with Remy, her father, and just about everyone else in the school. Elizabeth tries to help out but to no avail.

Remy takes the students to a meeting with Jonothan Starsomre & his "grassroots" mutants, the Fringes. The meeting turns very scary very quickly when the students are made aware of just who they're dealing with. An uncomfortable sense of fanatical brotherhood becomes clear to the group. However; tensions flare between Jono's "Fringe" clan and some of the students who Remy brought with him. After everyone is talked down from an unnecessary fight, the students realize how grateful they are for the Xavier Academy, where no one is discriminated against for "not being mutated enough", or being "passably normal", as they do in Jono's clan. Jono does make sure to extend an invitation to any of the disfigured mutants in the Xavier group before they leave.
