D'oh! It's been so long since I remember seeing Storm with cat's eyes that I'd completely forgotten that she had them.
We were stumped.
Can't wait to see more! Can't wait til the finished book!
Out of curiousity, do you know who will be doing colours on the book? And have you seen any of them yet?

I have not yet seen any colors, but the colorist is Matt Milla.

I’m almost ashamed to admit it but I never paid much attention to the artist, inkers, or writers of comics. :blush Well until I started to read the stuff on that sight that is. The only people I knew that worked on comics were Stan Lee and Dave Cockrum. You now have a very happy admirer of your art as your name is added to my very short list.

It’s beautiful, fantastic, and wonderful but… but the stupid little strings from his shirt don't look like there are falling down with gravity and I can’t get past that. Some one slap me since it is clearly one of the better art pieces of Kurt I have seen in such a very long time but now that I spotted those dumb strings it’s bugging me horribly.

absolutley awesome. my personal favorite is the penciled version. penciled versions are typically my fav., there is so much life in them. inked versions are great also, and look awesome hanging up. colored art is great to read, but can sometimes hide the great art.
and Dezzy Dragon, if you want another cool version of Kurt check out http://www.newsarama.com/WW_Chicago_04/ ... XM4502.jpg

Wow, Entropy, that is an awesome pic. Great detail, love the facial expression, and how can you go wrong with swords? Especially all three.
I know I've seen at least part of the arc that's from, but it's not coming to me and I can't remember the artist to save my life. Whose work is it? Oh, and thanks for posting that link.

The strings are blowing in the wind and up under his body. As he crawls over them, they'd catch the wall a bit and tuck under him. They wouldn't necessarily hang down. They're very light, and it's windy up there!Originally posted by Dezzy Dragon

taekwondodo-
that's an Alan Davis piece for the upcoming uncanny 450.
the reason it may look familiar is because it's the same costume he wore in Excalibur 16 (Kurt Wagner, Warlord of ??).
Darick-
do you keep the penciled version? i mean, does the inker you work with ink the piece directly or does he lightbox it or use a blue line?
also, do you yourself lightbox from a prelim that you've done or do you go straight at the board (a very daunting task it would seem to me)?
Thanks, love the previews you've been giving and i cannot wait to get this book!

LOL I can hardly believe I got a comment from Darick about silly strings on a shirt. You know what I really love about this piece is the angle. We hardly ever see Kurt as he crawls down from up above. In most panels that we see him it from the side like if you were there standing and looking at him on eye level. He always looks so static like he is just hanging there like an old Garfield with suction cups hanging on a car window. I just love how Darick got such a different look on something Kurt dose so often. Even if it dose make me a weeeee bit dizzy when I look at the moon behind him.

Well heck, I somehow managed to miss that colored page. Gorgeous. I must admit that the penciled version is my favorite but it is beautiful colored as well. I can't wait fro September to come. >.<

That is some great artwork. I'm looking so forward to this series. I'm really going to like seeing Nightcrawler explored in depth as a person, not just an X-man. And I just love seeing him drawn in something other than a goofy costume! Like they lounge around the house in spandex uniforms....most people who have to wear uniforms for work shed the thing as soon as they walk through the door at home....I know I always did...ick.
