Go to your local library and if they don't have it, try asking for an "inter-library loan slip." That's how I got my copy. The library borrows the book from another library and you get to check it out.

I saw the book at my library. i was going to get it. But my mom would have wondered what it was, And if she saw "by Alan Cumming" she would have freaked.

well, he published a book called Tommy's Tale. i'm not sure, but i think it was a bestseller for a while.

I'de really like to read Tommy's Tale, but due to the content, I'de have to keep it away from mummy's prying eyes. I think the story sounds really interesting. And about it being an indirect "biography" of Alan, I doubt it, but they say many writers throw aspects of themselves into thier characters, so that could be it.

Anywho, I'm positive that he was the narrator for Animal Planets "African Safari" Why? Cause I saw his interview on the X2 website, and the narrator's voice was dead on. I didn't find his credit on his IMDB page, and if it isn't him.. (which I doubt) I had hell of a good time listening to the narrator say "zebra"

Sorta sounded like Zay-brau.

What I really liked about it was that I listened to a Scottish guy with a sexy accent talking about lions and hippos and elephants for an hour...

Ah... Alan, you just gotta love his brogue --> or is that only associated with Irish people?
