Re: 2019 Amazing Nightcrawler series

This is a good read. Age of X-Man AU, but an AU that might have consequences for afterward for 616.

There is action and romance, and Kurt gets what he always dreamed of having, in more ways than one. I can't wait for the next issue. I'd link the next cover, but I'm not sure how.

Re: Anyone Know What's Happening with Kurt in 2017?

Well well, there is life left on the forum Haven't seen the Bamfs much. Right now Kurt is in an alternate universe created by Nate Summers. He's in Age of X-Man / The Marvelous X-men. The team includes Jean, X-23, Magneto, Storm, Colossus, and Nature Girl https://2.bp.blogspot.com/ygjRAPzlgq8ff7fccY...

Anyone Know What's Happening with Kurt in 2017?

I know there are some new books coming out, and that the teams will be realigned, but I haven't heard much about what is going on with Kurt these days. It's been abysmal being a Nightcrawler fan lately, no wonder this forum is nearly dead. I had high hopes for our blue boy after his resurrection, bu...

I finally got to see the the movie! I agree, it wasn't too bad. I would have liked that our merry band of mutants wasn't more like Evolution-X and that Mystique and Magnito weren't constantly central figures, but it was definitely worth watching. What I liked: Kurt was often the comedy relief, but h...

Wolverine - The Musical

This isn't new, so chances are some of you have already seen it. However, I couldn't find it on the board so I decided to post a link. I thought this video was hilarious. Yeah, some of the voices aren't real great, but I think it's really well done. Kurt has a small part during one number, and then ...

Nightcrawler breakdancing?? Yes. Please. Now. This might be the first time I've looked forward to the Bluray release before I've actually seen the film in the theater. I thoroughly agree! :dance Too bad they didn't leave it in the movie, it would have provided some fun and character development. Th...

Re: Apocalyptic Kurt

Great, I'm glad to hear there are some positive things. It would be enjoyable just because it's not centered around Wolverine. Wish I could see it this weekend, but I have to be out of town and I haven't got time. I wasn't too happy when I first heard that Kurt was going to be a teen in this movie. ...

Re: Apocalyptic Kurt

I sincerely hope this movie is better than some of the critics are saying http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/x_men_apocalypse/ . I don't always go by what general movie critics say about any movie that is comic book, sci-fi or fantasy, but I would hate it if this movie was close to a franchise killer a...

Re: Apocalyptic Kurt

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on this board, but I drop by once in a while to find out what's new because I don't buy comics anymore. Nice to see a little action. I was afraid this board had completely died. :( Love the commercials, thanks for linking those. I'm looking forward to...

Re: I asked Tom Brevoort about Nightcrawler

Exactly what I'm doing, and I made sure Marvel knows it. I will not give Marvel another penny of my money until Kurt WAGNER is back in place, and that includes the films. I'm sick to death of the anti-hero angle, as I have already stated several times. Will I ever care about Darkholme - NO, and no a...

Re: New Forum Platform: Issues and Questions

I meant to say this before, but I haven't had much time for this forum in a couple months. I am very grateful that you restored the creator forum. There is fanfiction in that archive that is found nowhere else on the Internet. It would have been a pity to lose it since some of the other Nightcrawler...

X-Men Anime on G4 Network

Please forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but I didn't see it anywhere. There are two English dubbed X-Men anime series on the G4 network. One is X-men - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2jTogBrWrA The roster includes Cyclops, Wolverine, Emma Frost, Storm, Beast, Professor X and Armor (al...

Re: New Forum Platform: Issues and Questions

I wish you hadn't pruned the creation forum either. I was working my way back through the fanfic because frankly, there isn't anything happening with Kurt at the moment that I care to read and it's the main reason I have been coming to Nightscrawlers in the first place. I was in the middle of a fair...

Re: AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser I

I agree, the personalities of Darkholme and the original Nightcrawler are so different there is no reasonable way AoA Kurt could come even close. They are nearly diametrically opposed in many aspects. If this this was to have been the original character instead of the 616 Kurt, I would never have be...

She actually worked on action figures, but my hubby doesn't remember which ones. This was back in the late 70's and early 80's, so it was a little before your time.

this coffee tastes like ass

I've been away from the internet much of the holidays, (my mom has no internet service). Just after we returned home, my sister-in-law passed away unexpectedly. In a way it was a blessing. She started out as an artist who designed toys for Hazbro. But unfortunately, she was also a paranoid schizophr...

Looks like some musty old graphics designers never read a comic book in their life. That's not going to attract the kind of people who buy comics books. :P

Marvel leading up to a NEW Excalibur? (Anything's possible!)

Excalibur was my first introduction to Nightcrawler and I have to say one of my favorite comic books of all time. I would love it if they brought it back, but NOT with anyone but the real 616 Kurt Wagner. If Marvel thinks they are going to get me as a Nighty fan to except the AoA version by evoking ...

what's your favorite cookie?

I'm with Svartfreja - White chocolate macadamia rocks. I also love Milanos from Pepperidge farm. As for homemade cookies - I make a mean buttery oatmeal with cinnamon chips, and a chocolate cookie stuffed with maraschino cherries and topped with melted fudge chocolate. Recipe - Chocolate covered che...

Teenager struggled with bullying before taking his life

I don't think that young man is looking for attention either. He's looking for answers. People, and especially teens, can be so cruel. Why it so hard to put yourself in another's place? I was bullied in middle school, but I had a very best friend and ignored it. By high school, nobody bothered me be...

You are missing some of the movies I think are memorable First and Foremost - The Nativity Story - the reason for the season after all also White Christmas / Holiday Inn - The Danny Kay version is the best. I won't miss this one once a year. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York - This was my favorite of t...

Where can I begin?

All the suggestions above are great. I'd add Classic X-Men to the list. I couldn't afford the original comics from the mid 70's to the early 80's, but these are a little newer and also have some wonderfully fun added stories in the back. These are from the early days of the "second team" w...

Much nicer than those expensive rubber hands, especially since you are dressing as the comic book Crawler (If I remember right).

The Occupy Wall Street Movement

I agree with you Elwing. It's about time regular people start saying enough is enough to corporate greed. I'm saying no to the Bank of America fees and transferring all my money. They are raking in the cash while the middle class salaries are going down. This is crazy. Who do they think will buy the...
