Nightcrawler 1 my take on it

Post by PirateKurt » Thu Apr 17, 2014 3:49 pm

I am sure Paty will be posting later. I just got this book today. My comic store is in an ordering snafu with Dimond and luckily, Marvel sent Paty a few copies.

It feels good to not be mad at Marvel.

So I crack open this book, and for the first time in years, I recognize the characters. Sure they have been drawn the same all along, but for the first time in 5 years, more really, they /feel/ like my friends. And Kurt, well, he's Kurt. He's not some gritty dark killer thing, he's our boy.

I will not do spoilers, I will not. As tempting to gleegasm all over the board as it may be. However, all the elements of the Kurt we love are there. You will enjoy it I assure you.

Claremont, he knows these people, these characters, and it feels like our friend again.
