Where no one has gone before! - All things Star Trek

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is just the beginning - talk Marvel on the big screen, small screen and everything in between. DC Cinematic Universe and independent comic creations are welcome, too - The Walking Dead, Preacher, etc.

Where no one has gone before! - All things Star Trek

So I tried searching for a Star Trek thread with the search bar, that led to some issues. :/ (Sorry HM).

Then I tried manually. Got about 3 pages in when I got bored in Off-Topics (though there's some very interesting stuff dumped in there) and about two pages in here when I realized if I was going to find one it would be waaayy outdated anyways.

Here is a {incase one exists or otherwise, for the first time ever:} BRAND NEW STAR TREK THREAD!

I figured I'd start off with one of my favorite characters. Uhura, of the Original Series. This is a quick snippet from an interview she did found on one of my favorite blogs The Mary Sue.

This is where Nichelle Nichols met Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and he actually CONVINCED her to go back to Star Trek even though she had decided to leave it. What a thing, huh? Dr. King convinced Nichols to return to the career-defining role as well as a role that would help to shape an entire franchise built upon progressive statements and futuristic adventure. Fantastic. :LOL I love it.

What're some of your thoughts on Star Trek? What's your favorite series? How about your favorite season? Or episode?

And of course who is your favorite crew -- and more importantly -- your favorite captain? :toothy

And yes you can even talk about "Enterprise".
